Red Pine, Pinus resinosa, can grow quite tall, reaching up to 35 m, with long, stiff needles measuring 10–16 cm that grow in distinctive bundles of two. It provides important habitat and shelter for wildlife, while its seeds are eaten by birds and small mammals.
