Eastern White Cedar - Sold in bundles of 10
Zone 34, 36 / Age 2+0 / Size 15-25cm
Eastern White Cedar, Thuja occidentalis, is a coniferous tree in the cypress family, found throughout northeastern North America. It is highly valued for wildlife habitat, providing cover and nesting sites for birds and small mammals.
Eastern White Cedar prefers wet, organic soils but can also tolerate dry, well-drained fine loam to sandy uplands. Its dense foliage and slow growth make it an excellent choice for windbreaks, hedgerows, and naturalized plantings.
