Black Elderberry - Sold in bundles of 10

Zone 36 / Age 1+0 / Size 15cm+

Black Elderberry, Sambucus nigra, grows 1-3m tall. Prefers wet to moist low ground sites and tolerates some shade but best planted in full sunlight. Produces flowers and small berries. Unripe berries are said to be toxic. It's a wonderful shrub for shoreline planting and is included in this year's Shoreline Bundle.
